Our collection of handbags and accessories is constructed entirely of plant leather, dyed naturally with flowers, and meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans in Canada. Our entire business is built circularly to support all the above causes from beginning to end of life. We specifically choose our partners who also align with these causes, we use little of our natural resources, only use carbon neutral shipping, plant Mangrove trees and donate to organizations rescuing girls and women from abuse and poverty. We are also building back manufacturing and economy locally by producing and hiring for all positions/tasks locally and not outsourcing to other countries.

Inspired by the circle of life, Aiya ayiA is consciously built using a circular economy to create renewable, sustainable, luxury products without compromising our planet, our values, and our health. We are committed to positively impacting the environment and society by replicating circular ecosystems that generate local economy, revive artisanal leather manufacturing sustainably, and collaborate with industries to turn waste materials into new products to collectively achieve zero waste.

Who is the team behind Aiya ayiA?
The team at the moment is just myself, along with a diverse advisory board and highly vetted third-party contractors in their fields of expertise, from leather specialists to digital marketing.
What one thing about Aiya ayiA would most surprise us?
Everything is made from leftover plants, dyed naturally with flowers & tree bark without any toxic chemicals, petroleum or plastics.
What would you wish for if you could be granted one wish?
For all living beings (animals, humans, the entire planet) to be treated with kindness and compassion and shown dignity and respect.
