How it Started

Zaheer trained at the Lia Schorr Institute in New York and became a celebrity manicurist working on various types of photoshoots and commercial print advertisements. Shortly after opening, Zaheer decided to take his project a step forward and is working with others to develop his own line of non-toxic polishes, free from the big three, toluene, formaldehyde, and DBP, as well as a completely organic nail polish remover, derived from soy.

Today, the spa boasts over 100 traditional, neon, and glow-in-the-dark polish colours as well as lavender, tea tree oil, and unscented remover. Karma Organic Spa, the final product of Zaheer's vision and innovation, is the only known all-natural nail spa in the state.

The environmentally-conscious and trend-focused consumers are catered to, but the average client will find that Karma provides great treatments with top-end products at reasonable prices. Each treatment is specially created with the use of various essential oils, fruits, herbs, and flowers as well as homemade sea-salt and sugar scrubs and scented lotions.
