Melody’s Magical Scents was set up because Caroline, the owner/ creator, suffers from severely debilitating migraines alongside other chronic health issues.

Melody's Magical Scents story:

After some online research, I talked to other migraine sufferers to get their feedback and gauge their interest in setting up a UK brand specifically for migraine shower steamers. I also thought of what else I wanted to include within that brand and how I could produce the steamers without any harmful chemicals, making the whole customer journey vegan and cruelty-free.

Since then, I have created shower sprays for those who wanted to have some relief from their pain or just want to enjoy their shower routine again. Melody's Magical Scents offer a whole range of shower sprays that not only smell fantastic but they help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. We even have ones that help you relax after a difficult day.

Melody's Magical Scents have also created a range of pillow sprays for people who struggle to fall asleep - like Caroline the owner. When creating the range, we went back to basics and wanted to ensure that there were no more than four ingredients in the pillow sprays. Even the family dog falls asleep when the spray is used!

What is the motivation behind Melody's Magical Scents?

The motivation behind Melody's Magical Scents is that it was created in mind for people like myself who have chronic health issues and wanted to be able to enjoy their shower routine, as so many people with chronic health cannot manage a bath. Therefore, shower routines can be boring. So many products have too many chemicals in them, and that's not what I want to use when having a shower.

Also, so many products claim to be Vegan and Cruelty-Free and when you actually take time to research them, either they or their parent company test on animals but don't advertise it. Cruelty-Free products are a big thing for me.

Who is the team behind Melody's Magical Scents?

It is mainly me, but my husband is my unofficial tester. And let's not forget Melody herself, who is the spokeskitty and her brother.

What one thing about Melody's Magical Scents would most surprise us?

All of my great ideas normally hit me at about 1 am when I am trying to go to sleep.

What would you wish for if you could be granted one wish?

That there would be no more SeaWorld.
