I had the honor of receiving an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Achievement in Human Interest-Program/Special" in 2019.

I love to see what's on the other side of the wall. To hear words that shatter all preconceptions. To see tears where you don't expect them. To find connection where all hope seems lost.

These are reasons why I became a visual storyteller. This profession fulfills these passions.

I am humbled to be allowed into people's journeys of pain and courage, their intimate spaces, and their attempts to survive or build a better existence. This profession gives me a chance to share these experiences with the world, in an effort for us all to understand one another just a little bit more.

I specialize in telling stories of social justice issues, people marginalized or misunderstood and the unknown. I have a talent for finding unusual angles and perspectives often overlooked.

I love adventures of all sorts, and do whatever needs to be done to "get the shot." Every story, every image has meaning to me and creating it in a way that meets my clients needs and helps the heroine of the story feel seen, is of great importance to me.

I have a degree in Photojournalism from San Francisco State University, and had several successful internships at KQED and the San Francisco Chronicle. I have been a freelance visual journalist since 2013. While I am centered in the SF bay area, I love traveling and working on location.

Coming from journalism I have the capacity to be a one woman band. I can film, do audio, interview and keep a subject feeling safe and empowered. I also enjoy working on teams. I love to film and to edit and to try new things too!

I have hourly editing rates, half day and full day filming rates and am willing to give lower rates to non-profits.
