ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: We have planted 3 million moringa trees across Ghana and estimate that in 2022 our model will sequester 100 million kg of CO2. | We utilize drip irrigation which uses 65% less water than traditional irrigation methods and our irrigation system runs on solar power generated by solar panels on our farm, reducing diesel fuel consumption by 2800 liters and carbon emissions by 16,500 lbs annually. | We achieve environmental impact SDGs (13) Climate Action and (15) Life on Land. | SOCIAL IMPACT: To date, we have planted 3 million moringa trees providing rural nutrition and afforesting communities in Ghana, and serve 5,000 women and family farmers, 75% of whom are in the poorest 20% in Ghana. | Our organic certified solar regenerative farm provides land access to disadvantaged farmers. | We provide wrap-around services (child care, access to health insurance, scholarship funds) to eliminate the barriers that often keep women from participating in tree crop farming. | Our Village Savings and Loans financial literacy training enables unbanked rural women and farming families to earn 1.5%-5% per month on money they save and lend within their group. | For every $1 we invest in our farmer engagement model, $10 of community wealth is generated. | We achieve social impact SDGs: (1) No Poverty, (2) Zero Hunger, (3) Good Health & Well-Being, and (5) Gender Equality.
